Occupation:Billiards/Snooker & Pool Professional. My last fulltime position was Resident Professional at Tattersall's Club, Sydney from 13th July 1998-23rd Dec. 2004.

Age First Played:18, took it seriously at 21

Dominant Hand:Right

Highest Break:Billiards - Social 316, Comp 343
Snooker - Social 145, Comp 133 (total clearance)

Best National Ranking:Billiards - 1
Snooker - 3

Inspiration for playing:To be the best that I can be.

Which Game Do You Prefer and Why?Billiards - it is an art and a science. If you are good enough you can score forever, so it's more of a challenge.

Most Memorable Match:Winning the City of Melbourne Snooker C/Ship defeating Neil Robertson 5 frames to 4 on the final black.

Most Embarrassing Moment:I was invited to play in the Illawarra Leagues Club Snooker Invitational event in 1987. They held a line-up shoot-out competition and I was the only player to miss the first red!

Favourite Venue:The Crucible Theatre, Sheffield, UK. I dream of playing there one day.

The strangest place you have ever played:Not really the strangest place, but the strangest feeling - playing an exhibition at Seven Hills RSL, I was playing a game of billiards and a game of snooker at the same time on adjacent tables.

What is your ambition in the game?To win my national championship at billiards and snooker. Also to win at least one world billiards title and to become the best trick shot player in Australia.

Most Admired Player:Billiards - Walter Lindrum, Snooker - Steve Davis

Walter LindrumWalter Lindrum is the greatest cueist the world will ever see. His dedication to practice was phenomenal, and he was also a humanitarian - in his lifetime he raised over one million pounds for the war effort and later for charity and cancer research.

Steve DavisSteve Davis in his heyday was in my opinion the most complete snooker player in the world. He is a great ambassador for the game with a completely unblemished record.

What advice would you give young players? If any young player wants to reach his or her full potential, they simply must have professional coaching right from the start before any bad habits set in,or at the very least buy a book, preferably written by a professional.
